Logan: Review

Update: Hugh Jackman is now promoting the film’s next segment Logan Noir, which is a black-and-white version of the film and will be shown in theatres soon.

Honest critique, I’ll only give this movie 3 Stars for all it’s worth.

If not for the great acting and action sequences of Hugh Jackman, this is a pretty ho-hum film. Not to mention too many unnecessary violence and foul mouthing, I reck’n not for the young fans especially children. I barely saw the semblance of the previous X-Men movie series, so if you’re not a huge fan of Wolverine, suggest giving this a miss.

Synopsis: In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant (Dafne Keen) who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.
