NRL Round 16: The Winners and Losers

NZ Warriors = two straight wins has the Warriors on the edge of the eight.
Gold Coast = from Origin zero to two-try Titans hero, the Hayne Plane lit up Campbelltown again.
North Qld = fantastic comeback win against Penrith.
Brisbane = brilliant win in Canberra, with almost half their team backing up from Origin II.
Sydney Roosters = scored 19 points in the last 25 minutes to beat Melbourne, Pearce the hero again.
St. George-Illawarra = still in touch with the top four after a great comeback against Newcastle.
Manly = in the top four after a big win against Cronulla.

Canterbury = a better performance compared to their last loss but still in the bottom four.
Wests Tigers = Wests should start booking their September holiday now.
Penrith = gave their all in Townsville, but it wasn’t enough.
Canberra = another close loss, finals hopes slipping fast.
Melbourne = a surprise loss in Adelaide, leading 20-6 and 24-12.
Newcastle = led 28-10 at halftime, lost by four. Poor Newcastle can’t take a trick.
Cronulla = out of the top four following the loss to Manly.
