Melbourne, it’s time to get your geek on!

Oz Comic-Con, Australia’s favourite pop-culture event, was back in town this weekend, July 1-2, providing Victoria’s ultimate celebration of geeky goodness.

Fans had the opportunity to meet celebrity guests including Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones); Alyson Hannigan (Buffy and How I Met Your Mother); Sherily Fenn (Twin Peaks); Shannon Purser (Stranger Things, Riverdale); Christopher Lambert (Highlander, Mortal Kombat); Daniel Portman and Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones); Aly Michalka, Rahul Kohli and Robert Buckley (iZombie); Sylvester McCoy (Dr Who); and Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy) to name but a few.

Oz Comic-Con Melbourne also saw the Melbourne Heat of The Australian Championships of Cosplay for 2017, with the winners securing a place in the national finals this September in Sydney.

But it doesn’t stop there – Oz Comic-Con Melbourne was also home to local and international comic artists and authors, exclusive workshops, a dedicated anime station featuring exclusive to Oz Comic-Con content courtesy of Crunchyroll, gaming areas on the show floor, a Marvel and Star Wars exhibit, family activities and fantastic, costumed fan groups.

With something for fans of every age, genre and interest, Oz Comic-Con Melbourne was the only place to be this weekend.
