Perth back on top

Perth returned to the top of BBL07, beating Melbourne Renegades by five wickets at the WACA.

Chasing the Renegades’ 3/185, Perth scored 5/186 off 19.5 overs. Ashton Turner (70 off 32 balls) and David Willey (55 off 41) scored half centuries. 

It was a bittersweet WACA return for Brad Hogg, taking 1/38 but dropping Turner.

Cameron White (68 not out off 55), Tom Cooper (57 off 34) and Marcus Harris (48 off 28) top scored for Melbourne. Andrew Tye took 2/36.

The Renegades are in third with four wins from six games.
