CANBERRA = off the mark – finally – with an impressive win.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS = big win puts them briefly in the top four.

ST. GEORGE-ILLAWARRA = still undefeated after weathering Souths’ fightback.

WESTS TIGERS = already beaten last year’s premiers twice in 2018.

NZ WARRIORS = five from five.

NEWCASTLE = brilliant win against Brisbane.

GOLD COAST = two huge wins in a row.

PENRITH = another great win against a desperate opponent.

CANTERBURY = outplayed in Canberra, won’t get easier in Townsville next Saturday.

CRONULLA = reality check after last week’s grinding win.

SOUTHS = did well to come back, but wasn’t enough.

MELBOURNE = been a while since Melbourne lost two straight.

NORTH QUEENSLAND = in real trouble now.

BRISBANE = closer to the bottom four than they’d like.

MANLY = big fall after dominating Canberra last round.

PARRAMATTA = improved performance, but not quite good enough.
