SYDNEY ROOSTERS = well, at least they won.

NZ WARRIORS = brilliant rebound win against the Dragons.

MELBOURNE = continue to dominate at Lang Park.

SOUTHS = continue to improve.

NEWCASTLE = great last-minute win, though will be without Mitchell Pearce for four months.

NORTH QUEENSLAND = desperately-needed win.

PARRAMATTA = finally won.

CRONULLA = their third win of the season was hard-fought.

CANTERBURY = they followed the wonderful Townsville win with that performance against the Roosters?

ST. GEORGE-ILLAWARRA = the winning run had to end sometime.

BRISBANE = crashed to earth after the big win in Auckland.

CANBERRA = disappointing loss to a far superior Souths after two good wins.

WESTS TIGERS = still have a brilliant 5-2 record.

GOLD COAST = two straight losses.

MANLY = three straight losses since the big Canberra win.

PENRITH = hopefully a minor hiccup in an otherwise great start to the season.
